Control signals, video links and packet parsing

The RF detection range covers 300 MHz–6 GHz. Detection modes vary by receiver: packet parsing, digital video, analogue video and digital control signals. The handheld detector provides aircraft-type alerts with sound and vibration, with a specified detection distance of 1.5–2 km. Portable and fixed locating units specify 2–3 km for video/packet detection and 500 m–1 km for digital control signals. These distances describe different signals, not interchangeable coverage guarantees.

Turn RF activity into operator information

The low-altitude sensing station supports allow/deny lists, track replay, event logs and statistics; position and track information depend on aircraft type. The direction finder adds 360° azimuth coverage with ≤5° angular accuracy. RF-silent aircraft require complementary sensing, while buildings and radio congestion affect reception.
